There are plenty of boat launch areas within 5 to 50 miles away. Drake Harbor in downtown Warsaw offers a free boat launch area which is approx. 5 miles from Hidden Oaks Cabins. Another local boat launch facility is Osage Bluff Marina or Shawnee Bend. Plenty of others areas to seek out for boaters.

Local events include; The Wine Stroll, Cigar Box Festival & BBQ, Jubilee Days, Heritage Days, and Christmas on the Harbor, located at beautiful Drake Harbor and the Visitor center.
